The Xinomavro variety is at the center of our focus
The philosophy of VEGORITIS is to produce quality wines across a range of prices, focusing on delivering the best price-to-quality ratio available on the market. Additionally, there is a special emphasis on utilizing and cultivating the region's vineyards through a blend of traditional (empirical) methods and modern technical and mechanical approaches
The Xinomavros variety is at the center of our company's interest, with a parallel focus on developing new varieties perfectly adapted to the microclimate of the area, such as white varieties like Rhodite, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Malagouzia, and Malvasia Aromatic, as well as red varieties including Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Negoska.
WINERY
A high-quality everyday wine
The daily wines of Vegoritis E.E. are produced at the winery under the "To Chalo" brand for our bag-in-box packaging, and our award-winning "Milos" wines are bottled in 187 ml, 375 ml, and 750 ml bottles. These wines are crafted from grapes sourced from privately owned vineyards and collaborating winegrowers. The name "Milos" was chosen for our company's wines in homage to an ancient windmill situated in the heart of the Agios Panteleimon settlement.
The individuals who form the backbone of our company have all been entrusted with Yannis Boutaris' vision, which aims to bridge the gap between the winegrower and the final product. This vision revolves around ensuring quality, passion, and authenticity throughout the production process.
The company's objective is to firmly establish itself in the minds of consumers as a top-tier everyday wine, continuously improving its price-to-quality ratio each year to capture the market in Western Macedonia and beyond. Another goal of our company is to provide training for winegrowers in new viticultural methods and to adapt to the evolving requirements of climatic conditions. This ensures our capability to absorb all grape quantities produced in the aforementioned region.

Development of wine tourism and gastronomy
A key focus of the company is to support the growing trend of wine tourism and gastronomy that has been evident in recent years in our region. This involves creating and developing visitable wineries and dining areas within the framework of the Wine Routes of Northern Greece programs. Visitors have the opportunity to take guided tours inside the production areas and participate in parallel presentations of our company's wines as well as other selections.
The company aims to position itself in the minds of consumers as a high-quality everyday wine option, continually improving its price-to-quality ratio each year to capture the market in Western Macedonia and beyond. Another objective is to provide training to winegrowers in new viticultural methods and adaptation to changing climatic conditions, enabling them to absorb all grape quantities produced in the region mentioned above.
